Ewhurst Parish Council consists of seven Councillors who serve a four-year term. The latest elections were held on 4th May 2023, so the current councillors will serve until May 2027. All Councillor positions are voluntary and unpaid, although each Councillor is offered an approved (taxable) annual allowance. In 2024/25, this allowance was set at £180 per member. Members of the Council work as a single, democratic body to make decisions on behalf of the local electorate.
In May 2023 all seven Parish Councillors were nominated via an uncontested election (where there are fewer or the exact number of nominations as there are seats).
